Your change is ready. How does it reach customers safely? Think of sending a parcel: pack one item, then get it inspected. Start on your own branch. Keep one idea per pull request. At least one teammate approves it, checking the change, tests, and risk.
Before delivery, checks protect the parcel. On every push, tests, linting, and a security scan run. A red check blocks merging; fix it, even for a one-line change. Merged changes deploy automatically to staging, a copy of production with fake data. Try your change there like a customer.
Delivery is gradual: Tuesday and Thursday at 11:00, releases reach 10% of customers first, then everyone. Watch the error dashboard for 30 minutes after each release. Anyone can press rollback without permission if trouble appears. How do we stop trouble from spreading? Checks, staging, gradual rollout, and rollback catch or contain it.
