Play your take, record it again if you like, then send it. Your voice is ready in about a minute, with a one-minute sample.

About a minute. The recorder needs at least 20 seconds and stops by itself at one minute, and a full minute of clear reading sounds most like you. Read in a quiet room, close to the microphone, at your natural pace.
No. Each custom voice speaks the language it was recorded in, so a video it narrates is in that language. To narrate in another language, record a voice in that language. The 30 narrators speak all 79 languages.
No. A video narrated in your voice uses plan minutes like any other video, and every plan includes at least one custom voice.
Only you. Your voices are private to your account, every recording starts with a spoken consent line, and deleting a voice deletes its recording. Record only your own voice, or a voice you have permission to use.
