Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Chasca, including the website, the web app, the API, the SDK and CLI, and the MCP server (together, the “Service”), provided by [legal entity] (“Chasca”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live, to create an account.
• Keep your login details and API keys confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account and keys.
• If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms on its behalf.

2. Plans, minutes and billing

• New accounts include a small number of free, watermarked videos. Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until cancelled; cancelling keeps your plan until the end of the paid period.
• Plans include a number of rendered minutes per monthly cycle. Unused minutes do not roll over. Generations through the API, SDK, CLI or MCP server count at the multiplier shown on the pricing page.
• Overage is off unless you turn it on; when on, extra minutes are billed at the rate shown for your plan.
• Prices exclude applicable taxes unless stated. [Refund policy to be confirmed.]

3. Your content

You keep ownership of what you upload (prompts, documents, recordings, links) and of the videos, scripts and scene graphs the Service creates for you, to the extent the law allows. You grant us a limited license to host, process and transform your content only to provide, secure and improve the Service. You are responsible for having the rights to the material you upload.

4. Acceptable use

• Don’t use the Service to break the law, infringe others’ rights, or create content that is deceptive, hateful or harmful.
• Only clone a voice that is your own, or that you have clear, documented permission to use.
• Don’t probe, overload or reverse-engineer the Service, bypass rate limits, or share access in ways the plan does not allow.

5. The API and automation

API keys are personal to your account. We may rate-limit, suspend or revoke keys that endanger the Service or other users. Documentation of the current API lives at /docs/api.

6. Open-source components

Parts of Chasca build on open-source work, including the Sketchy Icon Library and the explainer-evals harness by Sketchie, both under the MIT license. Their licenses continue to apply to those components.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep Chasca available and reliable, but the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features may change over time. If we make material changes to these terms, we will give reasonable notice.

8. Limitation of liability

9. Ending your use

You can stop using Chasca and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that seriously or repeatedly breach these terms.
