Up to 400 pages. Chasca works from up to about 25,000 words of its text, so for a long report, upload the chapter you want explained or add a line saying what to focus on.
Only if the PDF has a text layer, meaning you can select the words. A scan that is just pictures of pages has no text to read, so run it through OCR first (most scanner apps and Adobe Acrobat can do this).
The script is written from your document rather than from general knowledge, so the figures, names and terms come from your PDF. If something needs fixing, fix it in the document and make the video again in about a minute.
